Why plan before you play?

Deepwoken rewards preparation. Every wasted stat point is a step closer to permadeath.

Permadeath is permanent

Deepwoken wipes are brutal and final. A miscalculated build can cost you Power 20. Planning every talent and stat point before committing prevents wasted runs.

Talent prerequisites are complex

Many talents have hidden prerequisite chains spanning multiple stat thresholds. The builder maps every dependency so you know exactly what you need — and in what order.

Stat allocation is irreversible

Once you invest stat points you cannot re-allocate them without wiping. Seeing your final stat spread before you start prevents regret at Power 10.

Optimize for your playstyle

Whether you are building a PVP Jetstriker, a deep-layer PVE tank, or a trial-focused DPS, the builder lets you test different combinations instantly — no wipes required.

Every system. All in one place.

Build guide for new players

Six fundamentals every Deepwoken build planner should understand.

01

Invest heavily in one attunement

Mantra scaling is exponential. A build with 80 Flamecharm will out-damage a split 40/40 Flame+Thunder every time. Committing to one school of magic maximizes mantra power.

02

Know your Oath requirements before Power 10

Many endgame oaths require 40+ in two or more stats. If you want Arcwarder, Saintsworn, or Visionshaper, your entire stat spread needs to support that requirement from day one.

03

Match your weapon class to your stat investment

Medium weapons scale with Strength and Agility. Heavy weapons scale primarily with Strength and Fortitude. Pick a weapon class that shares stats with your intended playstyle.

04

Outfit armor stacks multiplicatively with equipment

Your outfit provides base armor % and your equipment adds on top multiplicatively. A 30% physical outfit plus 15% from equipment results in more than 45% total reduction.

05

Talent conflicts are invisible without a builder

Some talent pairs are mutually exclusive and the game gives no warning until you try to select one. Conflict detection in the builder catches these before you waste progression.

06

Power 1 stat bonuses from origin and race are permanent

Your race grants 4–6 free stat points at character creation. These cannot be changed. Combined with origin and starting gear, they shape the minimum viable stats for your build.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Deepwoken and this builder.

What is Deepwoken?
Deepwoken is a roguelite action RPG on Roblox with permadeath. When your character's health drops to zero, they are permanently lost — making careful build planning critical to long-term progress.
What is a Deepwoken build?
A build is the complete set of choices that define your character: which stats you invest in, which oath you take, which talents and mantras you select, and what equipment and outfit you wear. Each choice affects your combat style, damage output, and survivability.
How does this builder differ from deepwoken.co?
Our builder provides accurate stat formulas, outfit armor data scraped directly from the Deepwoken wiki, complex oath requirement checking, race passive ability display, and an integrated Global Summary that shows Health, Ether, armor %, and combat scaling all in one view.
How does build sharing work?
Your entire build is encoded directly into the URL. Click Export to copy a link — anyone who opens it will see your exact build loaded in the builder. No account or login required.
What are mantras in Deepwoken?
Mantras are active abilities gained by investing in an Attunement (Flamecharm, Frostdraw, Thundercall, Galebreathe, Shadowcast, Ironsing, or Bloodrend). They scale with your attunement investment and are central to most offensive builds.
What is a murmur in Deepwoken?
Murmurs are passive gameplay abilities unlocked during your playthrough. Ardour increases posture damage dealt and reduces posture taken. Tacet enables invisibility. Rhythm lets you track and see enemy health. You can only equip one at a time (unless you hold the Soulbreaker oath).
How often is the builder data updated?
We scrape data directly from the Deepwoken Fandom wiki and update whenever major patches land. All outfit armor stats, oath requirements, race passives, and talent descriptions reflect the current version of the game.
